Metallic Paint

Hi!I am looking for a great metallic acrylic paint for my students. I would like to to be affordable and brilliant. So far, the ones I have tried have been disappointing in that they are either too thin, or not metallic enough.Any Suggestions?See More

High School kids - HOW TO MAKE ART FUN...

Hi all,I'm a second year teacher. Last year was tough, however I thought I had worked the kinks out and was ready for a whole new year. Turns out, being SUPER organized and prepared still has me struggling with classroom management and rapport. I teach Art 1 in high school. The ages literally span in each class from 9th-12th. Hello,I am a very green teacher and still have lots of questions. I don't intend to send students to the office on a whim, but I am very interested in other schools procedure sending students to office.Ex. If your at recess duty and something happens outside, do you take the kids to the office and straight to the principal or do you go through the secretary?If something happens in your class, do you send students to principal and just call them to let them know you are sending someone, or do…See More

"If you know the piece has a hollow area inside of it, poke a pin hole into it to release the steam when it's firing. I never worry about air pockets in the clay of kid made things as I do not see these causing explosions during firing.…"
